Surface Abrasion: The outer sheath constantly rubs against festoon trolleys and neighboring cables inside the system, demanding robust wear resistance.
Tensile Force: The cable needs to sustain its own weight across the span between trolleys. Excessive stretch will lead to dragging, jamming and mechanical failure.
Complex Environmental Conditions: Most units are deployed outdoors or inside vast industrial workshops. They confront UV irradiation, ozone ageing, varying temperatures, as well as potential contact with grease and industrial chemicals.
Insulation Layer: Flexible specialized materials including Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) and Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) replace ordinary PVC. These materials maintain pliability under low temperatures and resist cracking after millions of bending cycles.

Internal Layout: All inner cores are twisted with balanced lay length to avoid distortion and bulging during repeated flexing. Certain specifications adopt non-absorbent fillers such as polypropylene yarn, stopping moisture diffusion even if the outer sheath suffers minor damage.
