A densidade de blindagem depende de fatores como a espessura do fio tran\u00e7ado e a densidade da tran\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p>1. Existem v\u00e1rias densidades de tran\u00e7ado comuns para as camadas de blindagem dos cabos, sendo que as seguintes s\u00e3o algumas das mais comuns: \u2022 70%: Consegue resistir, at\u00e9 certo ponto, \u00e0 interfer\u00eancia eletromagn\u00e9tica externa e \u00e9 adequada para liga\u00e7\u00f5es de equipamento el\u00e9trico geral com requisitos de blindagem eletromagn\u00e9tica relativamente baixos.<br \/>\n\u2022 80%: \u00c9 capaz de suprimir eficazmente as interfer\u00eancias eletromagn\u00e9ticas e \u00e9 frequentemente utilizado na cablagem interna de dispositivos eletr\u00f3nicos comuns e de equipamento de escrit\u00f3rio.<br \/>\n\u2022 90%: O efeito de blindagem \u00e9 bom, sendo adequado para locais com determinados requisitos em termos de ambiente eletromagn\u00e9tico, tais como alguns sistemas de controlo de automa\u00e7\u00e3o industrial.<br \/>\n\u2022 95%: Apresenta um elevado desempenho de blindagem e \u00e9 frequentemente utilizado em cabos sens\u00edveis a interfer\u00eancias eletromagn\u00e9ticas, tais como cabos de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e de transmiss\u00e3o de dados.<\/p>\n<p>2. As normas nacionais estabelecem requisitos diferentes quanto \u00e0 densidade do blindagem dos cabos: \u2022 No caso de fios blindados de um \u00fanico condutor com uma sec\u00e7\u00e3o transversal nominal igual ou inferior a 0,12 mm\u00b2, a densidade da tran\u00e7a da blindagem n\u00e3o deve ser inferior a 60%.<br \/>\n\u2022 No caso de outros fios blindados, a densidade da blindagem n\u00e3o deve ser inferior a 80%.<br \/>\n\u2022 Cabos de computador: A densidade de blindagem individual deve atingir 85% e a densidade de blindagem global deve atingir 95%.<br \/>\n\u2022 Cabo de controlo: Ao utilizar fio redondo de cobre para a blindagem tran\u00e7ada, a densidade da tran\u00e7a n\u00e3o deve ser inferior a 80%.<br \/>\nAl\u00e9m disso, no que diz respeito \u00e0 blindagem tran\u00e7ada dos fios de cobre dos cabos, \u00e9 normalmente exigido que a densidade de cobertura seja superior a 90% e que o di\u00e2metro do fio tran\u00e7ado seja superior a 0,1 mm.
